Dartboard Finder turned 8 at the start of this year, and we have been growing stronger than ever. In the past year, we have added features such as a Social Darts calendar and automatic venue submission. We have also begun adding venues outside of Australia. There will be more improvements and updates to come.

The goal since day 1 has been simple: to make it easy to find a place to play darts. Before we started in 2018, there was no website that did this. Our other priority - to promote darts as a community building activity, open to people of all backgrounds and ages. However, there's always been the question of darts being a "free-for-all" activity and businesses using darts as a source of revenue - both should coexist.

To this day, we have been focused on promoting venues, especially ones that allow their dartboards to be played for free.

Going forward, we will add further transparency - for venues that charge for use of darts facilities, we will add a note so you can decide if it's right for you. On the other hand - for venues that make their facilities free to use, please support them through other means such as purchasing food or beverage, if you have the means to.

To support this, we will be verifying all venues and events again to determine if there are any costs to play, then adding this information to each venue page.

General Rules for Venue Submissions

For new venue submitters: please ensure the following.

• If darts cost money to play: please specify how much per game / per hour etc.
• Please provide evidence that your venue features dartboards. This can be done via links to your website, social media posts or other materials. If there is insufficient evidence, we will remove your venue.

Future Directions

Currently we are reviewing and adding improvements to ensure the site is easy to use, such that users can reach the information they need with the fewest clicks.

In the near term future, we are improving the reliability of information and planning to add some exciting community features.
